Short Cat ("we," "our," or "the app") is a productivity Android app developed by Short Cat that creates customizable floating panel overlays with app shortcuts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Short Cat requires several permissions to function. Here's why we need each one:

| Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) |
Shows a persistent notification while panels are active, with controls to show, hide, or stop the overlay. Required on Android 13+. |
| Vibrate (VIBRATE) |
Provides haptic feedback when interacting with panels (dragging, tapping icons). |
| Receive Boot Completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED) |
Reserved for future functionality to optionally auto-start panels when your device boots. Not currently active. |

Short Cat is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is rated for general audiences and contains no age-restricted content.
